This home was inspired by the natural beauty and drama of the site itself. The client’s vision and dream were of a serene, elegant and livable home. By combining the natural elements of the site, such as the quality of light in the desert, the warmth of the winter sun, the colors and textures inherent in the Sonoran Desert, and the homeowners’ and architect’s mutual respect and appreciation for this fragile desert environment, their dream was realized. The following is an illustration of that process through evolution.
